My name is Dean (call me Smiff) and I’m from the west end of Newcastle.  I’m twenty something and have about 20 grey (‘gray’ in the US) hairs – all because of my beloved Toon Army of course!  Lived in the states since 1995, most of the time up in Boston.  Been in NYC since early 2003.  I miss my mince pies, pasties, sausage rolls and of course fish and chips wrapped in good old-fashioned newspaper!  My one dream is to actually have Sunderland in the Premier League – so that we can have 2 wonderful days each season beating their sorry "behinds."
